At their LEVEL-5 Vision 2013 event today, the developer has announced their first project for Wii U.
WonderFlick, classed by CEO Akihiro Hino as one of their major projects, will see the involvement of Final Fantasy XIII character designer Nao Ikeda, Professor Layton character designer Takuzo Nagano, and renowned composer Nobuo Uematsu.
Players will take on the role of “the fortunate one,” who finds themselves washed ashore in Grimnarth. The enormous land is scattered with dungeons and towns, with its monarch seeking aid in order to save his kingdom.
The game will also release across PS3, PS4, PS Vita, and Xbox One, as well as iPhone and Android – each with their own exclusive dungeon. With the PS4 version players can use a smartphone or tablet as a second screen, with Xbox One supporting SmartGlass – emulating that granted by the Wii U GamePad.
WonderFlick is scheduled to release in 2014.
