Call of Duty: Ghosts officially confirmed for Wii U

It was but then it wasn’t, though Activision have at last officially confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts will release on Wii U.

Infinity Ward’s executive producer Mark Rubin seemingly confirm that it was on the way to Nintendo’s console, although he soon backtracked on his comments saying that even he didn’t know whether it would grace the Wii U.

Fans can expect an all-new world, storyline, characters and experiences, as players fight as part of a single squad against an enemy that has superior numbers and firepower.

Alongside which, Activision have confirmed that support will be included for Wii Remote and second-screen Wii U GamePad control.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will release for Wii U worldwide on November 5th.
