Capcom have confirmed plans to release Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies across Europe and North America in autumn.

Previously announced as Ace Attorney 5, the Nintendo 3DS exclusive will be available to purchase digitally through the Nintendo eShop.

Taking place eight years after his last appearance in the courts, Phoenix’s first case will see his team set out to discover the cause of a destroyed court room. In order to do so you’ll go up against Gaspen Payne, the younger brother of Winston Payne who appeared in previous Ace Attorney titles.

Crime scenes continue to see players hunting for evidence or clues, with Wright being accompanied by young Attorney Apollo Justice and a new Associate Attorney, Athena Cykes.

Athena’s able to psychoanalyse witnesses through use of a ‘Mood Matrix,’ enabling you to detect the emotional state of a witness to tell whether they’re surprised, angry, happy or sad – aligning such feelings with the statements they make to spot contradictions.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies will release for Nintendo 3DS across Europe and North America in autumn.
