Wii Street U software update now available

Those that are currently enjoying use of Wii Street U can now download a software update for the free Wii U application, Nintendo have confirmed.

This introduces Miiverse functionality to write and share screenshots from your favourite locations, whilst also enabling you to create bookmarks so that you can quickly return to them at the press of a button.

There’s also the ability to add Miiverse-supported tags to bookmarks, and informational tool-tips that let you see a location’s elevation and monitor an on-screen compass.

The Street View Guide, which shows paths that you can follow, now also turns a darker shade for areas that you’ve also visited.
