Wii U price drops to £189.85

Independent online retailer ShopTo have temporarily cut the price of the Wii U Basic Pack, now available for £189.85.

This is an approximated 24 per cent saving below the bundle’s designated £249.99 RRP at the retailer.

Such a move echoes ASDA’s own price cut last week, which saw the supermarket chain seek to reignite interest in the console by slashing both Basic and Premium Pack pricing by £50.

This sees the retailer offering the bundles at £199 and £249 respectively, with ShopTo now aiming to compete with consumers by undercutting this.

Alex's early adoration for Nintendo began with a Yellow Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land. This developed over the years, later peaking when he hid in his room to play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time one Christmas. Nowadays, his enthusiasm is shared through Nintendo Insider, a place in which he can document his thoughts regarding the big N.
