During today’s Nintendo 3DS Direct, global president Satoru Iwata has confirmed that a new Mario Golf game is in development for the handheld.
Camelot are “working hard” on Mario Golf: World Tour, which will release this summer.
“It includes deep golf gameplay that those familiar with the sport will appreciate, but also straightforward controls that anyone can enjoy,” Iwata explains.
“The game features a wide range of golf courses from traditional designs to those inspired by Mario’s world, as well as many familiar faces and game mechanics.”
Mario Golf: World Tour will release this summer for Nintendo 3DS.
