LEGO The Legend of Zelda campaign continues

You may remember Michael Inglis’ LEGO CUUSOO campaign to have his computer animated concepts for LEGO The Legend of Zelda become a reality.

Unfortunately he lost out to LEGO Back to the Future, dreams of a LEGO Hyrule temporarily shattered.

That’s where Wes Talbott steps in, wielding his own Master Sword and Shield in leading the charge against LEGO once again.

“With the recent dismissal of the first LEGO The Legend of Zelda project I felt it necessary to keep the ideas flowing in hopes that by hard work and determination The Legend of Zelda and LEGO fans will be able to merge the two things they love most,” Talbott endearingly explains.

His designs take inspiration from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and, more specifically, in Link’s encounters with the lumbering Iron Knuckle enemy. His concepts still remain in LEGO CUUSOO’s “Idea Stage,” and he’ll need more supporters to see LEGO review the potential for its creation.

Talbott even went as far as to design a poster that could be included within the LEGO set, of which part appears in the main banner image atop this page.

For more information, you can head on over to his LEGO CUUSOO page to offer support to the campaign.

  1. They better not let this pass. I am tired of all my childhood favorites getting turned into Lego’s. It may not affect them too bad, but Nintendo would loss my purchase of The Legend of Zelda games in the future.

  2. Making a lego zelda game would brutally injur the reputation of the zelda franchise and piss off the true zelda fans. I’m tired of LEGO ruining amazing games and movies.
