The Pokémon Company International have today confirmed further information regarding Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, following their global reveal yesterday.

At the end of the debut trailer, we caught a glimpse of the legendary Pokémon that will appear within each, yet their names remained unannounced.

Well, we now know that these are known as Xerneas (ZURR-nee-us), which was the deer-like legendary Pokémon, and Yveltal (ee-VELL-tawl), which we saw soaring through the skies. Both can be seen within the trailer below.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will launch worldwide for Nintendo 3DS in October 2013.
