BioWare have confirmed that they have engaged an external third-party developer to bring Mass Effect 3 to Wii U.
Although, that isn’t something to worry about, as, whilst their identity wasn’t confirmed, they are cited as having “a ton of Nintendo experience.”
“Well, we’re actually working with a third-party external developer who has a ton of Nintendo experience,” revealed Melanie Faulknor, External Producer for Mass Effect 3 on Wii U at BioWare, during a video interview with GotGame.
“We wanted to bring that to the platform as well, jsut so we had somebody who knew Nintendo really well.”
In terms of supported Wii U GamePad functionality, players will be able to assign ammo, biotic, combat and tech powers to hot keys on the touch screen, the ability to issue commands to squad mates, and an interactive map.
