Back to the Future: The Game will be released at retail across EMEA territories, following an announcement that Deep Silver have signed a publishing agreement with Telltale.

This will see the publisher receive exclusive rights to publish and distribute the title, developed through a publishing agreement with Universal Partnerships & Licensing, at retail.

Telltale’s graphic adventure game tells a new time-travelling story where players will meet iconic characters from the cult film classics, including Marty McFly, Doc Brown and the DeLorean Time Machine.

Taking place six months after the events of the third film, the DeLorean Time Machine mysteriously returns to Hill Valley and Marty must go back in time to recruit the assistance of teenage Emmett Brown before the space-time continuum is forever altered.

Back to the Future: The Game features the likenesses of original stars Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, with Lloyd also voicing Doc Brown in the English version.

Back to the Future: The Game will be released during the first quarter of 2012, for Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
