Akihiro Hino, CEO and President of Level-5, has revealed his thoughts on where he sees the future of the hugely successful Professor Layton series heading, including the potential for a Hollywood film, TV series or even a play.
Having been queried as to where the future of the series lies, Hino replied “[We're] making the 2nd season (games 4,5, 6), and if it is successful we’ll definitely want to try a third season. Eventually, it might be interesting to make it into a Hollywood movie. Or it could be a play.”
“I’d love to watch all kinds of adaptation of Layton and his world,” he continued. “We’d love to grow Layton into shows that everyone in the world would enjoy.”
