It would seem that Treyarch are to support the recent release of Call of Duty: Black Ops on Wii with an update to improve connectivity issues that players have been reporting since launch, although how it will be made available is yet to be announced.

Such news was announced by Treyarch’s Community Manager Josh Olin on the Call of Duty forums, where he wrote within a Community Update:

“Wii Community,

Thank you for helping us to identify the various connectivity issues you have been experiencing. We have fixed many of the problems you have reported and are currently testing those fixes in anticipation of releasing an update.

Stay tuned for the delivery of this update within the next week or so.

Thank you for your support!”

Call of Duty: Black Ops released last week, raking in sales of over $650 million within five days.
